Children’s Lifestyle Expert and Author Lisa Dunn-Dern
is a multi-faceted talent whose skill and expertise shines over
many different areas of arts and education. Her second children’s
book, “Dr. Duncan Dog On Duty!” published in 2007, features a family
and their therapy dog that visits children in the hospital every
week.
Following a writing career on the HBO-Fox series
“ROC” and several years producing and directing large-scale children’s
musical theatre productions in Los Angeles, Lisa turned to writing.
Her first children’s book, “Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow,” had the
same little girl trying to give her nearly bald daddy a new hairdo,
while the mommy was at the beauty salon. Both books have received
critical acclaim and praise from noted celebrities and professionals.
Lisa’s creative flair has expanded to include both
radio and television! She and her teenage daughter, Chelsea, co-produce
and co-host an Internet radio program, “Chillin’
with Chelsea and Lisa: Mother-Daughter Duo Tell It Like It Is,”
on BigMediaUSA.com,
their new home after nearly a year on GlobalTalkRadio.com. “Chillin’”’s
in-studio guests include Chudney Ross, Diana Ross’s youngest daughter,
and columnist-reviewer Karen Salkin of BeverlyHillsPeople.com.
